Gaius Publius, political writer and Contributing Editor to AMERICAblog.com, went to Netroots Nation with five questions and a list of people. The result is a series of thought-provoking chats, posted originally at AmericaBlog and reproduced here for the Virtually Speaking audience.

Gauis Publius talks with Susan Smith, progressive activist from Florida and chair of the Democratic Progressive Caucus; Chris Pearson, Vermont state legislator and member of that state's Progressive Party (yes, VT has a Progressive Party); Frances Causey, producer-director of the documentary Heist: Who Stole the American Dream? and Sarah Burris, youth and labor activist. The first four questions were the same for each. The fifth is tailored.

This set completes the Five Questions interviews. Three of these people are directly involved in the political system as activists, while Ms. Causey qualifies as a 'big-picture' commenter. All offer interesting reflections on the state of the Republic and its future.

Susan Smith's interview first appeared here, Chris Pearson's here, Frances Causey's here, and Sarah Burris's here.
