According to the U.S Department of Labor, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is considered a neurological developmental disability, with the symptoms being measured on a spectrum from subtle and mild symptoms to severe cognitive and developmental delays.

Lastly, according to the American Psychiatric Assn, Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition involving persistent challenges with social communication, restricted interests, and repetitive behavior.
