Dr. Bradley Ekwerekwu (eck-where-eck-woo) hails from Arlington, Texas, and currently resides in Omaha, NE with two sons-Vincent and Avery. 
 
He currently works with the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties and relies upon personal discipline, attention to detail, and teamwork in his daily travels. “Dr. Brad” joined forces with the Men Against Domestic Violence Action Coalition as the Education Chair. This appointment allows him to influence various learning environments in efforts to share his research, provide empowering education, and actively engage individuals in 'community' action plans. Drawing from various lived experiences, Dr. Brad has decided to continue to spread influence and motivation toward healthy relationships and progressive mindsets. The MADVAC mission is near and dear to his heart and mind, and powers his efforts toward reaching young men and boys.
 
In this interview, Dr. Ekwerekwu shares his personal connection to his life's work in mentorship and education, the before/during/after methodology he took with him from playing football at Missouri and in the NFL, and an image that inspires interdependence and collaboration between generations and other diverse demographics.
