A fantastic atmosphere in Mönchengladbach, Borussia hosted Barcelona in the Champions League group matchday 2. The foals went 1-0 through a Hazard-goal, but Barca turned it around with two goals in the second half. A great effort from André Schuberts team nonetheless. Only a few days later, it was yet another weak performance away from Borussia-Park, when Gladbach helped Schalke to their first points of the season in a 4-0-thrashing. A soft penalty and two more goals conceded within six minutes decided the game, just when Gladbach had made efforts to score and aim for only the second away win in 14 games (with only four draws).
