Dr. Perry Cahall, Professor of Historical Theology and Academic Dean of the School of Theology at the Pontifical College of the Josephinium joins Dr. Mary Anne Urlakis on Episode 10 of “Vows, Vocations, & Promises: Discerning the Call of Love,” to discuss the release of his new book: Living the Mystery of Marriage: Building Your Sacramental Life Together. Dr. Cahall has educated seminarians at Pontifical College of the Josephinum for over fifteen years and has previously taught at Ohio Dominican University and the Liturgical Institute of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. Pastoral Care of Marriage and Family is among the many courses Dr. Cahall teaches. He has authored numerous publications, including his 2016 book: The Mystery of Marriage: A Theology of the Body and the Sacrament. Dr. Cahall has been involved in preparing couples for marriage and is frequent presenter at Pre-Cana Conferences for engaged couples in his Diocese of Columbus, Ohio. In this episode, Dr. Cahall discusses the beauty and mystery of sacramental marriage and provides practical advice for those discerning their vocation to live the call of God’s love.
