Can you Really Be Transformed? - VOX Community Oct. 1 2017 - a podcast by VOX Community Podcast

Today Karrie talks about the transformational power of God over sin. Sin tells us three lies: This won't hurt me. I need it to be fulfilled. I can control this behavior. But these lies play themselves out every time. It begs the question: Is God really good if he allows us to be tempted? Is transformation possible today or do we have to wait for Jesus to return? If we are called and consumed by the Holy Spirit, we can be transformed today. We serve a God who loves us so much, if we invite him, he will dig deep to find the root of our pain and to heal and redeem us today. We remember that God has chosen us. We invite him into this place of pain and sin to heal our hearts. This gives us the power to resist the temptations that call us over and over again. We can be empowered by the Holy Spirit. It's is our gift and our inheritance and we don't have to wait to experience redemption.
