VSC Podcast Episode 01: Start by Believing - a podcast by Victim Service Center

The Victim Service Podcast aims to normalize the dialogue of sexual violence and other social issues through housing discussions with professionals that serve victims and survivors of trauma, and those who have experienced violence.  

On our first episode of the VSC Podcast we focus on Start by Believing Day, a global campaign that encourages people to start by believing when someone in their life discloses that they were sexually assaulted. Start by Believing Day is the first Wednesday of April and you can take the pledge at startbybelieving.org!   

On this episode we have joining us Sheronne: She is currently working as an insurance professional. She is also a survivor of a Sexual Assault which occurred almost 25 years ago during her freshman year of college.  We also have with us Johnnie Kramer: He's been working in Mental Health since 2013 and has been a Victim Advocate with the Victim Service Center for going on 3 years now.
