This week on the Victim Service Center Podcast we are talking about Survivor to Thriver: How Victims of Sexual Violence Define Themselves. 

On this episode we having joining us Gail Gardner. Gail is a member of VSC's Speaker's Bureau and is an author of two books: "Woman to Woman: Gleaning Inspirational Insight from our Biblical Mothers" and "Healing Scriptures: Declaring and Affirming God's Love." As a survivor of Sexual Assault and Abuse, Gail is passionate about mentoring women through engagement, faith, encouragement, inspiration, and empowerment. 

We also have Brandi Godbee on this week. Brandi is the lead therapist at the VSC and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She is trained in EMDR and is a certified clinical trauma professional. Brandi has been advocating for sexual trauma survivors through VSC since 2012.
