It is another WAC Wednesday and in this episode of the WAC Hoops Digest podcast, I put together some thoughts on Utah Valley and Chicago State. I also talk about a Sportscenter Top-10 moment from Tuesday on the women's side of things.

Both Chicago State and Utah Valley lost on Tuesday night. Chicago State played with six players in a 29-point loss at Illinois State. Interim head coach Rodell Davis has a difficult job right now of keeping this team together. The Cougars fought well in the first half, trailing by just six at the break. But Illinois State hit 10 3-pointers in the second half to pull away.

Andrew Lewis, Isaiah Lewis, Solomon Hunt, Lou Demuth, and Jordan Polynice all missed Tuesday's game. It will be interesting to see what Chicago State is like when they are fully healthy.

Utah Valley had another shot to beat Utah at the Huntsman Center but failed to execute in the final 3:21. In fact, Utah Valley went scoreless over that stretch and the Utes pulled away for the 75-67 win. On its final five possessions, Utah Valley had two missed shots and three turnovers. Not a good combination when you are trying to pull off a major upset.

Evan Cole had a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds but turnovers were the difference on Tuesday night.
