This is Part II of a two-part series. We have back Brie Blakeman and I am so excited about what she has to share with us today. Today I want to talk about exercising the whole dog. We all know that a tired dog is a good dog. However, it's really not just physical exercise that the dog needs. They also need mental enrichment, as mental exercise is a really important aspect to building a calm and collected canine. Let's just jump in and explore some of the ways that we can get our dogs the mental exercise that they so desperately need.

Brie Blakeman, CPDT-KA, is a certified professional dog trainer in Portland Oregon and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Alongside running her own business Noble Woof Dog Training, Brie teaches at The Oregon Humane Society, helping clients understand and address behaviors like separation anxiety, hyperactivity and reactivity. When she’s not teaching, Brie and her Siberian Husky Yuka enjoy the sport of bike-joring, and trick training as well as performing behavior chains for the occasional TV commercial.
