Nigerian Afrobeat artist Burna Boy called the organisers of the music event Coachella in the USA for putting his name in small print compared to other acts such as Childish Gambino and Arriana Grande. The artist deemed the act disrespectful to his brand and Afrobeat as whole. The truth is the likes of BET has always disrespected Afrobeat artists. Fuse ODG accused them of not letting Afrobeat artists perform on stage on the award nights and it is well known that awards were given to winners back stage or in an empty auditorium although that has changed after years of outcry.
