Ghanaian Afrobeat singer Becca got married recently and in less than 9 months has given birth to a baby girl. This has made people question the reason why the Ghanaian musician got married to her Nigerian husband. The obvious reason to many people for her marriage was to cover her pregnancy and prevent the "shame" associated with having children outside wedlock. This is a common thing among most West Africans and families are known to encourage their children to get married once pregnancy exist. Ghanaian actor John Dumelo also found himself in a similar situation last year when he got married and within 7 months the wife had a child.
