8th of February marked the 2nd anniversary of the death of Ghanaian female musician Ebony Reign. The tragic and unfortunate demise of her brought an end to a very promising career. In a time when Ghana music was lacking great female artists, Ebony was the only one that could stand toe to toe with the likes off Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and the rest.

Since Ebony's death, no female artist has been able to fulfil the gap she left in the industry with MzVee coming close. Wendy Shay seem to be the artist trying to take on the mantle now but she is not in the same class as Ebony even though they come from the same camp of Ruff Records.

Gone are the days when Ghana music was filled with some of the best female musicians from the likes of Mzbel, Tiffany, Efia and even Becca.

The Wahaala Boys look into the state of Ghana music and Ebony's death.
