It’s Day 4 of the Mentor Masterclass Holiday Challenge Podcast!

Today’s featured mentor is the brilliant and insightful Rochelle Schieck. She’s the founder of Qoya, a movement system based on the idea that through movement, we remember. Since its inception in 2009, Rochelle has trained hundreds of Qoya teachers, taught thousands of Qoya movement classes, and led dozens of retreats in the most sacred places on earth.

Rochelle has a beautiful intention in mind: to remember, and to help others do the same.

Her work has been featured in outlets like New York Magazine, Oprah.com, The Telegraph, and Psychology Today.

My conversation with Rochelle gives us a way to be ready for the stresses that the holiday season can sometimes trigger. As Rochelle puts it, sometimes our rich and busy lives can become so crazy during the holiday season that our nervous systems mistakenly go into fight-or-flight mode!

Does that hit home for you? It absolutely resonated with me.

Rochelle has a way for us to break free of this, and it all comes back to the body. Today she’s showing us how to manage this part of the year with grace and ease.

Rochelle is one of the core mentors who teach inside my signature coach training program, Mentor Masterclass. She’s a powerful teacher because she completely understands the struggles of busy women with full lives, who sometimes get overwhelmed by obligations and a culture that urges us to do more, faster, better. But Rochelle guides her clients and our students in Mentor Masterclass as they relax into receiving rather than burning the candle at both ends achieving.

She’s amazing, and if you haven’t met her yet, I know you’re going to love her.

Listen to today’s episode and be reminded that your body is your guide — and learn how to put that into action!

How to Play Full-Out

1. Listen to the podcast episode

Listen to today’s episode and follow the instructions to do your challenge activity.

Each challenge is a fun and easy way to practice what you learn in the episode, while having some holiday fun inside our supportive community of coaches and mentors at the same time.

2. Share & Win Prizes

Follow the instructions and then share on Instagram, or Facebook if you do not have an Instagram using the tags #MMHolidayChallenge @mentor.masterclass and @jeannine.yoder.

Tag Rochelle, too! She’s @RochelleSchieck on both Instagram and Facebook.

Click here to follow us NOW on Instagram @jeannine.yoder and @mentor.masterclass. Some podcast episodes may mention an old Instagram or Twitter page, but this year we’re focused on using Instagram and these pages to track your sharing and to give out prizes.

This is also the best place to make sure I personally see what you post. We’re tracking tags and shares, so the more you play, the more chances you have to win prizes and a potential scholarship to join my signature program Mentor Masterclass. Plus Instagram is one of the best places to engage with like-minded powerful women and start to create a brand as a coach, let’s use this challenge as a way to get you comfortable being seen and to grow your following on social media!

3. Reflect & Renew

After you’ve done today’s challenge, take a few minutes to be fully aware of how energized you feel after just 5 minutes of dance.

Sometimes we forget how small steps (even 5 minutes) can make a big difference. Now take the concept a little further, and pick out at least one or two more things you can spend just 5 minutes on today that will increase your energy. After you do those things, write down a few notes about how great it feels to be held accountable by mentors to taking small, simple steps toward improvement and self-care.

4. Earn a Full or Partial Scholarship to Mentor Masterclass

If you’d like to be considered for a full or partial scholarship to Mentor Masterclass, download a copy of the Holiday Challenge Reflection & Support Guide (or “workbook”) here

The workbook contains the reflection questions for podcasts you’ve already listened to during the week, to help reinforce and review what you’ve learned. Simply follow the instructions inside the workbook when you receive it.

The workbook is also your scholarship application. To be considered for the full or partial scholarship, follow the instructions on the workbook information page. Make sure to email your completed workbook between Sunday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 18. (The deadline to enter is 5pm ET on Wednesday, December 18.)

We’ll choose a scholarship winner and announce her name during the Live Call on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. You must be on the call live to win. To make sure you don’t miss it, sign up for the live celebration call here and reserve your space NOW.
