During this walk, Marissa explains why she is committed to magnifying our lens of possibility.

A Delaware native,  she earned her bachelor's degree in special education and psychology from Kean University and her Master's in Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. While an undergraduate, she was a 2-time captain on the field hockey team, was a member of Division III National SAAC, and was also honored as a Top 30 nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year.

Her undergraduate learning experiences lead her to the NCAA National Office - where she first served as an NCAA postgraduate intern. She then spent an additional 3.5 years fostering the growth of future generational leaders as the assistant director of leadership development. In early December 2020, she was named the inaugural Executive Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Georgetown University.

Our guest is the co-founder of Phenomenally PowHERful - a digital platform dedicated to sharing stories, life lessons, and advice from phenomenal and powerful women. She is also the director of operations for Twenty20 - a non-profit organization that helps young people focus on their vision and pursue success through individualized mentorship as well as college and career readiness programming.

Let's walk and talk with this phenomenally powerful woman!
