Episode 85 is a double book launch Winona LaDuke and I did together back in Nov25, 2020. Winona’s book is called To Be a Water Protector: Rise of the Wiindigoo Slayers and mine is Warrior Life: Indigenous Resistance and Resurgence – both by Fernwood Publishing.

The dual book launch event was called: Indigeneity, Colonialsim & Covid-19: Land Defenders & Water Protectors in a Pandemic Age facilitated by non-other than Dr. Niigaan Sinclair! This event was co-hosted by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives Manitoba and the University of Manitoba Native Studies.
