Persecution has always been part of the challenges of witnessing to Christ. Jesus tells his disciples not to be surprised about it (Jn 15:18-25) and Paul the Apostle affirms that all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution (2 Tim 3:12). As a people called to proclaim the Good News of God’s kingdom, some Christians may wonder how they can fulfill this call in difficult times. In this week’s episode, Ebenezer uses the example of first-century disciples to explain why Christians today should not allow persecution or bad times to ‘muzzle’ them. We hope that this message will encourage you to bear witness to the Good News “in season and out of season” (2 Tim 4:2).
