We all knew the Declan Rice rumours would resurface at some point this summer, but I don't think many fans were expecting them to serve as the backdrop to what increasingly looks like a firesale of the club's best players.

The current global crisis has led to many football clubs looking for ways in which they can negate the impending financial implications of months without live games, and when you've got players with market values in excess of £40m+, it's no surprise reports of a firesale are beginning to surface. But if clubs need to sell their best players in order to stay afloat, how many other clubs are going to be in the market to buy them for big money? Very few, and that's why the Rice rumours don't make a lot of sense when you really think about what effects Covid-19 is going to have on football's finances.

So that's the main topic of discussion on this week's episode, while we're also delighted to welcome Soccer Saturday reporter and fellow Hammer Bianca Westwood to the show for the first time. The lads also spoke with Neil Langley, who's West Ham fanatic son, Dexter, is currently suffering with a mysterious illness but was given a huge boost when Jarrod Bowen and Mark Noble sent him video messages of support last week!
