Carina attended New York University where she studied journalism and psychology. While there, she became interested in nutrition and healthy cooking. She created her blog kalememaybe.com during her senior year to help others learn about nutrition. Her goal is to provide healthy easy-to-make tasty recipes. She saw speedy success and is already a 2-time cookbook author: The Spiralizer Recipe Book and Plant Protein Recipes that You’ll Love.

Carina follows a mostly plant-based diet but doesn’t exclude any food groups and believes firmly in moderation and balance. That being said, all of her recipes use clean, organic, and sustainable ingredients, and they contain foods that will help nourish and strengthen both your body and mind.
