Pandemic Life (Dive Deep Episode 07) - a podcast by Sid and Bru

A reflection of 2020, our lives in a pandemic, and the birth of Weeb101 is our topic for today!

2020 was a weird year for us. Well, for most people. We're sure everyone entered the year with hopes of how this year would be different and how life would get better and BAM! A random bat decided to grasp the world in its claws and hold us all hostage in our homes. We all thought it would be two weeks before things went back to normal and then and another two weeks and then another two weeks and before we knew it, it was a year later. We're no closer to the end than we were a year ago.

In that pandemic, 3 guys were talking to each other and talking about the messed-up situation in the world around them. They decided the best thing to do to pass the time was to play a game (Dota 2 for those who are interested) and they spent their days playing the game, watching anime, and reading manga. One fine day, one of these guys came up with the idea of making a podcast about anime. "Sure, but what will we call it?" came the reply. "Weeb101" was the answer and now, you're reading this line, written by one of the guys on a podcast episode released by these three guys. It's been almost a year since we started and we've only grown a little, but we do this for fun and do this for those who watch. What did you do in the pandemic? We'd love to talk about it.
