We lost one of the great ones, someone that was a fan to the show and family. Ray Fame always supported the show and the vision behind it. While he is no longer with us as he took his last breath on February 23, 2021 we will remember his life during our music break as #MusicHeals.

But before that we will be interviewing with Kanika Sine of SpillitEnt and learning a little about her.

Kanika Sin-e’ Moor was born on tuesday November 5th 1991 in Brooklyn New York at

Brookdale hospital . Kanika didn’t have the fairytale family that all little girls dreamed of , but for the most part she got everything she wanted even the things she probably didn’t need . Her parents Samantha and Ronald separated when Kanika was still a child , but while under her mother’s care she was still very close to her father’s side of the family . The Moor’s definitely lived up to their name because Kanika was treated like royalty . Growing up in Bushwick was definitely not easy , especially with her mother being a single parent until Kanika  was the age of six.

Kanika wasn’t always a writer let alone a reader . She was placed in a private catholic school that didn't think she should move forward with the other students and held kanika back  . Being that her home life was so unusual she was very shy and speaking out in class wasn’t as easy to her as the rest of the children . Reading was such a difficult task for kanika . It’s not that she couldn't read; it was just that her comprehension skills weren’t the best .

After her parents decided that school wasn’t meeting the needs that kanika required they transferred her to another private school in bushwick where kanika not only conquered her trials with reading but made some actual great friends.

Although Kanika struggled academically she still managed to overcome every obstacle that was put in her way.  Now in her 20s Kanika can confidently say that she is a CEO of a multimedia company.
