"Do your research" with Jordan Buras - a podcast by Education for Tomorrow Alliance

In today's episode, Corinne sits down with Jordan Buras, Director of Economic Development for the City of Oak Ridge North. As the Director of Economic Development, her role is to promote the city and bring in new businesses to generate sales tax revenue. Economic Development is part of the more common term, Community Development. She works closely with the city building officials, public works department, Economic Development Corporation Board, and City Council to keep Oak Ridge North a thriving and vibrant community. Before moving to Texas, Jordan was the Acting Executive Director/Deputy Director of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board under the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana and the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism. Jordan graduated from Louisiana State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and has a love for LSU football. GEAUX TIGERS! We hope you enjoy today's episode!
