Join Samantha Sardina this summer for the What I Wish I Knew College Edition podcast! Samantha is a sophomore at the University of Michigan and is the EfTA summer intern. In each episode, she sits down with her current and past classmates to talk about what it's like to be a college student. Today’s guest is Mady Tozer, a rising Sophomore at the University of Southern California where she is double majoring in Opera and French with a minor in Italian. Mady shares about growing up in the world of musical theater and how she went through the process of selecting vocal performance as her intended career. She also shares about her recent summer abroad in Italy for a 5 week opera program where she performed in two operas, took Italian classes, and singing lessons, and met people from around the world. Her advice to high school listeners is to be more confident. Every college freshman is going through the same thing and stepping out of your comfort zone and feeling confident will help make that transition easier. We hope you enjoy today's episode.
