Today Corinne sits down with Dr. Emily Sanders, MD. Dr. Sanders was born and raised in Conroe, Texas and graduated from Conroe High School in 2010. She then attended Rice University where she graduated with majors in Biochemistry, Evolutionary Biology and Sociology. She then went on to complete medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine and is now finishing her final year of residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She will be going on to complete further medical training in the field of Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.

In this episode Dr. Sanders talks about the importance of not limiting yourself to one career or education box. She also talks about what it is like to go through medical school and the long road that comes with that as well as the day that she had a patient introduce her as "their doctor." This was such a fun and inspiring interview and will be very beneficial for listeners out there that have a dream of perusing medicine as a career.
