Children of the Revolution – How a Buddhist Monk, a Freedom Fighter, and a Chartered Accountant Brought Education and Hope to Thousands of Burma’s Poorest Orphans with Feroze Dada

Feroze Dada was a Chartered Accountant living in London when a chance meeting with a freedom fighter and a Buddhist monk in Myanmar transformed the lives of hundreds of orphaned and abandoned children being looked after in a remote monastery on the shores of Lake Inle in Burma.

This week, Feroze Dada joins Sandie to share the astonishing true tale of how the courage and tenacity of a small group of individuals from different religions and backgrounds helped a passionately caring, visionary Buddhist monk bring education and hope to thousands of Burma’s poorest orphans and children.

Feroze Dada’s book Children of the Revolution, is also a story of the author’s own journey: as a Muslim absorbing Buddhist philosophy and in so doing building a bridge towards peace which offers a transformative vision about how to live a meaningful life.
