An award-winning actor, director, screenwriter, singer, songwriter, and Emmy-winning narrator who’s worked with some of the world’s most distinguished filmmakers, he’s also a Buddhist priest and author of several books, including two highly acclaimed memoirs. In his latest book the The Lone Ranger and Tonto Meet Buddha Peter Coyote brings his love of acting and his spiritual work together in a unique work that cleverly marries masks, meditation, and acting exercises to help us get out of our way, unmask our true selves and liberate us from our fixed ideas of who we think we are.
