Joe Dumars won two NBA championships as a member of “The Bad Boys,” the iconic Detroit Pistons team of the late 80s and early 90s. After retiring as a player, Joe ascended to the Pistons’ President of Basketball Operations, and built the team that would go on to upset to three-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers to win the NBA championship in 2004. The NBA’s Sportsmanship Award is named the Joe Dumars Trophy.
