In their new book, The Angel of the Lord: A Biblical, Historical, and Theological Study, Matt Foreman and Doug Van Dorn argue that this mysterious Angel appears much more frequently than many people realize since he is called by a variety of names including the Angel, the Name, the Glory, the Face, the Right Hand, and the Word. Shane Rosenthal talks with Matt and Doug about their research into this important topic and its implications for our understanding of God’s self-revelation.
