Today, we are talking about the original Christian belief systems that included the idea of reincarnation and karmic debt. We will also be talking about when, where, how, and why these ideas were stripped from the bible and the Christian ideology.

Is Reincarnation in the Bible?

The early Christian belief system did in fact contain reincarnation and karmic debt as an ideology. Jesus was known to teach his disciples and his followers about reincarnation and karmic debt. This can be proven through a lot of different bible scriptures, especially in the book of matthew, when Jesus identifies John the Baptist as the reincarnation of Elijah the prophet.

This is further perpetuated when you take a look at all of the scriptures that seem to be revealing the secrets of karmic debt. In several verses throughout the bible it reiterates the karmic "eye for an eye" principle. All of these scriptures only make sense if reincarnation in the bible comes in to play. Without reincarnation and karmic debt, these philosophy's just don't work.

People commit crimes often, and unfortunately, they frequently get away with them. In the case of karmic debt, those crimes will be punished in the next life time by the same crime. The story of Elijah and John is a prime example of this. Elijah beheaded his enemies. Jesus identifies John the Baptist as the reincarnation of Elijah. John the Baptist met his end by being beheaded. That is the cycle of karmic debt.

A couple of scriptures that may answer the question: "Is Reincarnation in the Bible?"

There are a lot of bible verses that could be used to support the idea of reincarnation in the bible. These are just a few that we will be discussing in this episode:

"All who take the sword will perish by the sword." (Matthew 26:52)

"If anyone slays with the sword, with the sword must he be slain." (Revelation 13:10)

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A person reaps what he sows'"

(Galatians 6:7)

"Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn,

wound for wound, bruise for bruise." (Exodus 21:24-25)

We will be discussing these verses and several others in this episode. Make sure you tune in for the full explanations. Thank you for joining us while we investigate; is reincarnation in the bible.
