More on Sally:

Sally graduated from UNC with a degree in business administration in 1977.  At the urging of my father she helped start the Women’s Golf Team at UNC along with Mindy Moore, our freshman year.  Played there all 4 years, and won the NC Women’s Am in 1979. Turned pro in the fall of 1980.  She played professionally on the US mini tours, Asian, European tours and LPGA.  Taught in golf schools at Pine Needles, Craft-Zavichas Golf Schools plus several others before becoming head golf coach at UNC in 1993, where she had been assistant coach for several years. Coached there until the summer of 2009.

She now teaches privately in golf schools, mainly at Pine Needles. Moved to Pinehurst this past summer from Chapel Hill. Been a member of the LPGA T&CP since 1988.  One of my mentors, Peggy Kirk Bell. I also consider Wiffi Smith, Harvey Ward and Bob Grant as major influences on my game teaching.
