"Gina is an LPGA member and college golf coach at California State University- Northridge in Los Angeles. The Redlands, Calif. native played collegiate golf at UCLA, where her Bruin team won the Pac-10, Regional, and National Championship in 2004, along with one other Conference and Regional title in her four years with the Bruins. Umeck earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from UCLA in 2005 and also has a minor in Korean language.

Post college, Umeck went on to play professionally for five years on the LPGA Symetra Tour and played in the 2008 U.S. Women's Open. She then was an instructor at Wilshire Country Club and Aroma Golf Academy, both in Los Angeles, where she offered instruction in Korean and English to junior, amateur players, and members."
