Tracey Brown is a US Coast Guard Veteran. She was a rescue swimmer on both small boats and helicopters, a fire fighter, navigator and heavy weather surf coxswain amongst other titles in the early 80’s. Even before understanding the extent of how the characteristics of PTSD had affected her personal life, Tracey was educated as a Director of Rehabilitation and has been working for over 20 years in the field and the last decade has been dedicated to specialized work in pain reduction through scar tissue therapy. This is where she began the journey to reconnect her life after the lost years dealing with PTSD. Her hope is to help the helpers, heroes and warriors to get beyond the stigma of PTSD.
