Tarini is currently a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist at Realtor.com. Originally from India, Tarini moved to New York to study at Columbia University for her masters in Philosophy in Earth Science - yes, a MPhil. in Earth Science! This field, as you can imagine, is different than Machine Learning - so after spending a time doing research in that field (including part of that at Sea), Tarini went back to school to be a Data Scientist. 
Tarini gives tips on how to meet new people when moving for school or work, takes into the the world of data science and what a machine learning engineer does, and more.
