Rouble rebounds as EU sanctions on Russian coal loom - a podcast by BBC World Service

Russia's currency, the rouble, has recovered from the extreme lows seen in recent weeks and is now trading at levels that haven't been seen since before Russia invaded Ukraine in February. Elina Ribakova, Deputy Chief Economist at the Institute of International Finance, explains why. At the same time EU sanctions on Russian coal are looming, and we ask Monika Schnitzer of the German Council of Economic Experts how that might impact things.
