Jon Albon is a two-time Champion of World's Toughest Mudder, with back-to-back wins in the team category in 2015 and 2016. Jon is one of four men to run 105 miles at World's Toughest Mudder.

Outside of WTM, Jon is a two-time Spartan Race World Champion, the reigning OCRWC World Champion every year since 2014, and he is the current Skyrunning Ultra World Champion.

Jon is not running WTM this year in order to focus on the $1,000,000 Spartan Race challenge. Jon has already won the first of three races in order to qualify for the prize. The second race is this weekend in Sparta, Greece at the Spartan Trifecta Championship.

Jon shares his thoughts on the new venue in Atlanta, has some recommendations on assessing course difficulty and has advice for first-timers when the suffering gets real in the middle of the night. "Smile and be happy. No matter what."
