Today, Pastor begins a 2-part series on ‘How to develop good character’, focusing on one point that really challenges us to dig deeper in order that we might grow and become who God wants us to be.

So, what’s the one point? Be trainable and coachable! Nothing about character is hereditary, you can’t get it from genes or from DNA. Everything about it is based on what you learn and what you do with what you learn. Training requires stretching and requires sacrifice, it requires that you are emptied so that you can be filled. When you are trainable and coachable, you are pushed beyond what you think you can do and it’s in those moments, that true character is formed.
