Five months ago, Caroline Garcia couldn't even bend over to put her socks on, so bad was a back injury that derailed her season. On Saturday she won the biggest title captured by a French woman since Marion Bartoli won Wimbledon in 2013. That's quite the journey. 

Caroline Garcia joins the podcast after her resplendent week in Wuhan, where she capped off a 2 hour and 44 minute battle to edge past Ashleigh Barty to win the biggest title of her career at the Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open. It's been a difficult, humbling, and painful journey for the 23-year-old French talent, but a mature Garcia has finally arrived.
