Is It True? Can You 3D Print a Gun? - a podcast by Tom Hazzard & Tracy Hazzard

:: ::

In this WTFFF?! episode Tom and Tracy answer question they receive often at WTFFF?!, but have never answered, until today. In fact, this question has been avoided due to the controversial nature of the subject. However, in the wake of the San Bernardino mass shooting, and the recent passing of the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook tragedy, this question is coming up more frequently. Tom and Tracy decided it was time to address the elephant in the room, and have a discussion about the realities of being able to print “anything” with a 3D Printer, including a gun. This is an important topic to discuss, regardless of how you feel about gun rights, especially with so many 3D printers going into schools and libraries. How do we teach our children to benefit from all of the great things that 3D Printing has to offer, but maintain enough oversight to confirm the modern tools provided are being used properly?
