Today on Wussy Movie Club, the girls are having a sleepover as we continue our “Sapphic Season” with the 1995 coming-of-age flick, ‘Now and Then’. 

 

The film is packed with some of our all time favorite stars -- Melanie Griffifth, Demi Moore, Rita Wilson and Rosie O Donnell -- playing four old friends, flashing back to one eventful summer in 1970. 

 

Joining us today to break down the fashion, the herstory, and the queerness of “Now and Then” is longtime Movie Clubber, writer and herstorian, Rachel Garbus, plus Meg Chase, queer producer and videographer from Los Angeles.
