· Darshan is also the founding president of Airavat LLC, a company that  focuses on education, integration, training and outreach to government, industry, universities and non-profits all over the world on leveraging emerging technologies in their operations, procedures and processes.

· He is founding president of AUVSI North Carolina, a non profit organization that promotes Unmanned Systems education and outreach in NC. He has conducted extensive research and outreach on UAS applications and has educated federal, state and local government agencies on its benefits.

· He currently serves on boards and committees of national and international organizations that create safety standards and best practices for unmanned aviation for both industry and government agencies.
