Wassup ock!! we're back with another exclusive sit down interview! We sit down and chop it up with NFL Prospect and starting cornerback for University of Pittsburgh Panthers, collegiate football star, number 14 Marquis "Lock" Williams. Marquis is a 4 year starter and tells us how they were able to win the ACC championship in 2021 by playing together as a team and locking in and how they look to continue to build on that success. He discusses how working out and speaking with Antonio Brown has given him the confidence to go out there and guard anybody. He has family ties from football from his uncle Tyrone Carter, who won two Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jim Thorpe award for best defensive back in college. That’s where his work ethic comes from and he has been working hard at it and playing cornerback since he was a kid. His uncle along with other great players from his hometown motivate him to go out there and be great. He talks about how the Reliance family always supports him by even coming up with the nickname “Lock”, coming to his games, and checking on him constantly about his family. Off the field he is a father to his daughter and reps his clothing line republic. Emphasizes his focus on football and taking care of his daughter and playing for her, while the reliance team handles everything with deals and being able to learn how to manage money. He feels he is a great NFL prospect because he can do everything on the field, is coachable, and disciplined. Tune in to their season and check out the Pitt team and Marquis Williams! Big things in store for the rest of the season. #sports #football #collegefootball #cornerback
