HCC's Visual and Performing Arts Center of Excellence offers academic Associate Degree programs in Dance, Drama, Music, and Studio Arts for students planning to complete their study at four-year institutions. Our faculty members are internationally recognized and critically acclaimed choreographers, dancers, directors, musicians, scholars, and visual artists. Serving both the student planning to transfer to a university and the student exploring new avenues of imagination, our purpose is the same: To place technique and discipline at the service of creative vision.
Our performances and exhibitions are presented throughout the year and offered free or at low cost to HCC and the greater Houston community. We are proud to celebrate the Visual and Performing Arts at Houston's Community College.
