Ep. 9: Hands & Upper Extremity: The Upper Kinetic Chain for Weight Bearing - a podcast by Laura Goellner OTR, E-RYT, LMT

In this episode we talk about the Hands as the foundation of many poses. One of the unique things about yoga is that we often use the Hands for weight bearing and support. This is a great component to our movement practice BUT it requires some preparation to ensure strength and stability in the upper body to prevent injury.

I talk about my own experience with wrist and shoulder pain, how I modified my practice and the tools that I use to keep my hand and forearms strong.
