What makes a YTT stand out? Why would you pick one over another? With 17+ years in wellness I have learned what makes an exceptional Teacher Training and that is why I initially created the Quietmind Yoga Teacher Training in 2019.

Today I share some of my absolute favorite and most essential insights from the whole 200 hour program - from anatomy, to philosophy to ayurveda to trauma informed teaching and everything in between. I cover a lot of ground and share how I weave it into classes and why it is so essential that we as teachers include all of these core competencies in our teachers so we can best serve each student we work with.

I share about my lineage of teachers from Krishnamacharya to the source texts of 1750s BCE to modern exercise science and kinesiology. It all weaves together in the beautiful space of practicing yoga and meditation. I also touch on the business of teaching as I've learned from the lead sales training for Tony Robbins and other great teachers outside of the yoga realm.
