Last week I shared 6 of the most common mistakes that new teachers make with their cues. Today I will share what I suggest to do instead. These suggestions will help you create more clarity in your teaching and help your students focus on their practice of embodiment and presence in your classes. With experience and practice you can become great at cueing and be able to say just the right thing at just the right time.

To review last week, the common mistakes I'll follow up on are:

  • Using passive instructing

  • Not using trauma informed language

  • Teaching too fast

  • Requiring students to look at you

  • Not managing your state before you teach

  • Being self conscious

I'll share about these and 6 more common mistakes at the upcoming workshop. I'll also share the 9 types of cues to include in each class. You might already do some of these without knowing it, and may be missing some of these without knowing it. Including all 9 helps you create a more well rounded class that better serves your students. Learn more and enroll now at https://www.quietmind.yoga/cuewithconfidence
