This is episode 190 of You, Me, and BTC – your liberty and Bitcoin podcast.

It seems that even the threat of extradition can’t stop Kim Dotcom. He’s been facing piracy charges from the FBI for years and yet continues to develop ways to sling files across the web.

About a year ago, we shared the entrepreneur’s plans for a revolutionary, Bitcoin-based micropayments and file sharing platform (http://ymb.tc/e137). The project was dubbed K.im and currently approaches completion. Dotcom released a demo this week and plans to launch an ICO later this year. We’ll share more details and opinions during tonight’s stream.

Then after that, we’ll cover one Bitcoiner’s theory about how the NSA identified Satoshi Nakamoto. The agency hasn’t revealed this identity, of course, but supposedly they have it. They just needed to grab all of Satoshi’s writings, keep track of how often he used certain words and phrases, and compare those rates with samples from scary-sounding databases like PRISM and MUSCULAR.

There’s no way to know how legitimate this theory is, but it’s still definitely worth talking about. Just how much data do we think government agencies nab from social media networks and communication pipelines? How much do we think they care about identifying Satoshi? Do we think they’ll ever use similar data against us normies?

Tune in at tonight 9PM Eastern for all the excitement and check the list below for some of the specific stories we’ll cover!
