Rene Kink made his debut for Collingwood vs. Fitzroy in Round 19, 1973 at the Junction Oval. A game the Magpies won, Rene had 8 disposals and kicked 2 goals in his first outing at VFL level. In the middle of 1983 he moved to rivals Essendon before finishing his 181 game career with St Kilda in 1986. He is well known for his acting in the movie The Club but also a part of an unwanted record to play in 6 VFL grand finals for 5 losses & 1 draw.
