After an incredible life of highs and lows, defeat and victory, loss and life we come to the end of the story of Joseph

Joseph the beloved son of Jacob was betrayed, deserted by his family, punished for doing the right thing, endured long imprisonment, and was forgotten by those he helped.

In every situation and circumstance he found himself in, he chooses to stay faithful to the bigger story.. he recognised he was part of something bigger. He never hid from kingdom responsibility even though many wanted to hide him.

So from the prison to the palace, he remained integral and self-controlled, he remained graceful and forgiving towards his brothers, he never sought revenge but always looked to reconcile going as far as to bring reassurance to the brothers that betrayed him

The results were an incredible life of leadership faithfulness which ultimately paved the way for Jesus to come over a thousand years later.
