8 THE PATH OF FAITH BY THE SPIRIT

8 THE SPIRIT OF FAITH EXCEEDS ALL PROOF.

Because we do not preach to each other
 to ourselves,
but to Jesus Christ as Lord,
and to us as your servants for the love of Jesus.
Why God,
who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, he who shone in our hearts, for the illumination of knowledge
 of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure
 in earthen vessels,
so that the excellence of power
be of God, and not of us,
 that we are troubled in everything, but not anguished; in a hurry,
but not desperate; persecuted, but not forsaken; knocked down, but not destroyed;
always carrying the death of Jesus in the body,
 so that also the life of Jesus
 manifest in our bodies. Because we who live,
we are always put to death because of Jesus,
so that also the life of Jesus
manifest in our mortal flesh. So death acts in us, and life in you.
 But having the same Spirit of Faith, according to what is written: I believed, for which I spoke,
 we also believe, for which we also speak,
knowing that the one who resurrected
to the Lord Jesus,
He will also resurrect us
 with Jesus,
and will present us together with you.
For all these things we suffer for your sake,
so that grace abounds through many,
thanksgiving overflow
 for the glory of God.
Therefore, we do not lose heart;
before although this our outer man is wearing out,
the interior nonetheless
 it is renewed from day to day.
Because this slight momentary tribulation produces in us
 an increasingly excellent
 and eternal weight of glory;
not looking at us things
 that are seen, but those that are not seen; Well the things that you see
 they are temporary,
but those that are not seen are eternal.
