Jesus also told them:
Truly I tell you that there are some of those who are here, who will not taste death until they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James and John, and led them alone to a high mountain; and he was transfigured before them. And their clothes became resplendent, very white, like snow, so much so that no scrubber on earth can make them so white.
And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, who spoke with Jesus.
